Odense Robotics and Force Technology will uncover what 5G is, what can it be used for, and how does 5G differ from other wireless technologies? These and other topics will be covered in 3 exciting masterclass workshops on 5G, where we will explore specific use cases highlighting the opportunity to establish reliable wireless connections for autonomous devices, logistics and service robots, as well as the need to remotely control drones via a wireless connection.
We will delve into what 5G is, its various modules, and network slicing. Finally, we will discuss how you can test your products and the regulatory and technical requirements they need to meet.
In the first workshop, we will focus on robots and drones, often cited as use cases that can benefit from 5G. What are their technical requirements, and what different wireless technologies are available to meet these? 5G is one of these wireless technology solutions.
Therefore, we will describe what a 5G network consists of and how it differs from 2G and 4G in terms of both the infrastructure’s architecture and the specific use cases that only 5G can support.
