The Cyber National Team – What can we learn?

Jens Myrup Pedersen, Professor, Institute for Electronic Systems, Cybersecurity researcher, and digitization expert

Join the journey behind the Danish Cyber National Team, which won the European Championships in 2022 and secured a podium position again in 2023. Every year, hundreds of young Danes compete for a spot on the Cyber National Team. But it’s not just a competition; it’s also an important project to increase interest in and knowledge of cybersecurity. After an introduction to the national team, we explore how the gamification behind the Cyber National Team can also be used in competence development for a much broader audience than just young hackers, such as for competence development for the many IT professionals who are an essential part of our cyber defense in various companies.

Workshop – Cyber Attack Simulation

Mads Graves Larsen, Business Development Manager, Odense Robotics

Cybercrime is on the rise globally, and many companies face attack attempts every day. But what actually happens when an attack occurs? And how should you, as a business leader, respond? What options do you have? We will simulate a cyber attack together with you, where, as the management of a fictional company, you will have to make a series of decisions regarding the company’s operations and survival. In this brief session, you will get a taste of several elements related to cybersecurity in robotics. The deeper work on measures and organization will be discussed in the presentation of our new program: Cyber Safe Robotics.
