Country Manager Denmark and Channel Development Manager at Universal Robots, Sune McDonald Bertelsen will talk about the company’s value-creating contribution to the green transition, value chain and ecosystem. Universal Robots is a leading manufacturer of flexible industrial robot arms (cobots). Since 2015, the company has been owned by the American designer and manufacturer of autonomous test equipment, Teradyne. Head of Business Development at OnRobot, Thomas Houden will share insights on OnRobot’s business and market development and how the company went from idea development to its first incoming cash flow. OnRobot develops and implements collaborative automation for tasks such as packaging, quality control, material handling, machine maintenance, assembly, etc. Supported by the free Learn OnRobot e-learning platform, solutions are marketed throughout large parts of the world.
Topic 4: Company culture, value chain collaboration, and the importance of marketing:
Marketing Specialist at Nordbo Robotics, Patrick Rasmussen, (UCL University College alumnus) will discuss company culture, value chain collaboration, and the importance of marketing. Nordbo Robotics markets their “Mimic” solution as a position-sensing technology platform for a wide range of applications; from point teaching to inspections, or pick and place applications to very complex and smooth robot movements for painting and dispensing.
