We are excited to host a network meeting at Helsam’s facilities in Sonderborg to discuss the increasing complexity of warehouse logistics and the need for innovative solutions. This network meeting will be conducted in Danish.
Helsam, who is known for its role as a health wholesale distributor, has recently implemented a new robotic system for warehouse logistics that we will see up close on a private tour.
With the new system, Helsam has significantly reduced their warehouse space to just 20 % of its initial size, and handled almost 15,000 product numbers across 34,000 locations, resulting in a substantial improvement in efficiency and the elimination of delivery errors.
A variaty of specialists within warehouse automation will share their thoughts and experiences. You can look forward to meet:
- Jeppe Knutz, Logistics Manager at Helsam
- Martin Crone, Business Develop Manager at Effimat
- Morten Bitsch, Founder & Director at Kasparium
- Jan Stentoft, Professor at SDU
Advanced technologies like artificial intelligence and machine learning enable demand prediction, optimise warehouse placements, and reduce waste. Smart warehouse systems, such as Autostore, demonstrate how space savings and efficiency can go hand in hand.
Simultaneously, automation and robotics technology open doors to more scalable and cost-effective logistics solutions, particularly for businesses with extensive product portfolios. This development not only facilitates faster and more reliable delivery but also fosters more sustainable operations through reduced space requirements and energy consumption.
Please reach out to Dennis Svane Christensen if you have questions.
