Outdoor mobile robots are positioned to be a major solution in the challenges that we are facing both now and in the future, – in urban as well as rural areas.

Dealing with the challenge of traffic and functional safety within outdoor mobile robots.

Outdoor mobile robots are positioned to be a major solution in the challenges that we are facing both now and in the future, – in urban as well as rural areas. Not only does this type of robot have to be capable of solving our current challenges, but we also need to let it. Society therefore needs to be willing to co-exist with robots and make them part of our lives and the cityscape.

The next meeting for the Outdoor Robotics Network will focus on traffic, functional safety, and the barriers and possibility for developing a standard for outdoor mobile robots.
