RoboInsights, DTU and Odense Robotics brings you the The 7th edition of RoboInsights at DTU that covers robotics and AI under the theme diversity 21. September 2023.
In the ever-advancing landscape of Robotics and AI, a critical concern has emerged – the issues of diversity and bias. As these technologies become increasingly integrated into our lives, the lack of diversity in both development teams and the data they learn from can lead to biased outcomes.
RoboInsights seeks to uncover the theme of diversity and bias by asking questions such as – “is technology neutral?” and how do we include diversity in the development of new technologies?”
The event covers
- Trends in Robotics and AI
- Robotics/ AI at DTU & Diversity
- Bias and technology
- Startup Pitchfire
- Technology for people with special needs
- Tour of ASTA (Autonomous Systems Test Arena at DTU)
- Network
Robotics, AI, diversity and bias
The mission of RoboInsights is to get users of technology and researchers/ developers closer to each other. To create a space for networking, discussion, inspiration and involvement.
The event takes place at DTU and there will be a conference program, debates, a pitchfire with startups within robotics/ ai and a visit to ASTA Autonomous System Test Arena – one of few places in the world for testing robots in the air, on ground and under water.
