Robot & Science Festival 2024

The Robot & Science Festival will take place for the second time ever in May 2024 in Odense – make sure to save the date!

Join the new robotics festival – which will be even bigger in 2024 due to the success of the 2023 festival, where technology, robots, and science intersected with art and creativity. Visitors had the chance to get hands-on experience with the latest technology and innovative projects – over the course of the festival’s three days,  where 10,000 visitors visited  and 1,000 students participated in workshops.

Robot & Science Festival 2024 will be held in the robotics city of Odense ensuring that citizens and visitors in Odense can see and feel that Odense is not just a robot city, but also on its way to becoming a major Danish city.

Join the festival in Munke Mose, where there will be a large stage with various musical performances, exhibitions, international street theatre, and a creative maker tent with hands-on experiences for children and young people. Numerous new initiatives are also being planned.

Be a part of the festival as an exhibitor, speaker and more:

Companies, associations, cultural and educational institutions in Odense working with robots, technology, and science can become part of the festival through, for example, a booth, talks, or something entirely different. The festival secretariat, located at UngOdense, is open to new ideas about the development and realisation of ideas.

Opportunities to participate in the festival:

• Booth in the 550 m2 large Robot & Science tent located centrally in Munke Mose with flooring, electricity, lighting, and sound. The booth can be customised to the desired size and is free.
• Unmanned outreach activities such as exhibitions, video screens, and the like can be set up.
• Cross-over activities can be organied between company products and cultural actors in a creative process with assistance from the Festival Secretariat.
• A talk can be organised with a background in scientific, societal, or other interesting topics related to the world of robotics.
• Other outreach activities can be conducted elsewhere on the festival grounds if there are desires, needs, ideas, equipment, or other resources to be utilised. For example, a drone tent or underwater drones/cameras in Odense River, etc.
• Prior to the festival, activities can be arranged between school and high school students and companies, leading to a presence during the festival, organised with the assistance of the Festival Secretariat.
