StartUp Mic is the place to be if you are an entrepreneur or thinking of becoming one. This is the place for innovative ideas related to robot technology, and where entrepreneurs and startups can learn more about the startup community, robotics industry and learn from like-minded people.

On 25 may at DTU Skylab, you can learn more about starting a robot company and get useful tips to help you on the next steps of your journey.

Meet COBOD International and Kassow Robots

At this event, you will get to meet and hear from our two role models: Casper Strømmen, Marketing Project Manager at COBOD International, and Kristian Kassow, CEO and Co-founder of Kassow Robots, who will share their insights on starting a startup, how the companies got to where they are today and some tips on starting out in the industry.

COBOD International

• COBOD International was founded in 2017 in Copenhagen, but produced Europe’s first 3D printed building “The BOD” in 2017, which can be found close to their headquarters.
• COBOD International is a world leader in 3D construction printing solutions.
• Mission: To build smarter through multi-functional construction robots based on 3D printing technology. The team is constantly improving printing speed, effiency, labour need and material cost to challenge conventional construction.
• Founded by the serial entrepreneur Henrik Lund-Nielsen, Founder & General Manager, who has 20+ years of experience in intensive business development. Jakob Jørgensen, Co-Founder & CTO, Simon Klint Bergh, Co-Founder & Head of Asia Pacific &Philip Lund-Nielsen, Co-Founder & Head of Americas

Kassow Robots

• Kassow Robots was founded in Copenhagen in 2013 and their first robot was presented during automatica in Munich in 2018.
• Kassow Robots produces unique and efficient 7-axes lightweight collaborative robots for industrial applications.
• Mission: To develop and produce strong 7-axis lightweight robots with a unique combination of high power, speed, reach and payload for small and medium-sized industrial enterprises to perform automation tasks with great flexibility, simple programming and with excellent cost effectiveness.
• Two highly experienced robotics experts drive the company’s development – Kristian Kassow as CEO and Dieter Pletscher as Head of Sales.
