Next up: Czech Republic market intro on 5 September
60% of manufacturing companies in the Czech Republic are facing a manpower shortage. Only 13% of SMEs use industrial robots, but half of them have declared an interest in investing in them. Furthermore, the country is experiencing high inflation and growing salaries that emphasises the need for implementation of robotics and automation, according to a new market report from the Royal Danish Embassy, Prague.
“According to the new market report from the Royal Danish Embassy, Prague, robotics solutions are becoming more economically available, potentially leading to further expansion of robotics and automation in small and medium-sized enterprises – in which the Czech Republic is now generally lagging behind in the global competition.
This is where the potential is huge for Danish robotics and automation companies – especially in sectors like ecommerce and logistics, but also within the food sector and automotive industry, where there the demand for robotics and automation is high,” says Julie Thygesen Rydahl, International Project Manager at Odense Robotics.
The market introduction will provide companies with insights from a new market report presented by Lenka Andrýsová, Senior Commercial Advisor, Royal Danish Embassy, Prague, along with insights on how to access new markets and how to succeed in the Czech market as robotics suppliers from Jan Čejka, Škoda Auto’s leading robotics expert.
“Denmark has done a huge amount of work in robotics and has become one of the world leaders in this field. I am convinced that Denmark can help refresh the Czech automation market with new technologies,” says Jan Čejka.
Available support options when entering new export markets will be presented by Michael Nørregaard, International Business Advisor at the Trade Council, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Denmark.
