Earlier this month, Gert W. Josephsen joined Odense Robotics as the Business Development Manager of Odense Robotics’ new Copenhagen hub. Gert will be responsible for establishing and developing the regional hub, while also collaborating closely with DTU and DTU Science Park. A key task will be facilitating a network for companies and organisations engaged in robotics, automation and drone tech in the Greater Copenhagen area and on Zealand.
Gert has more than 15 years of experience working as an Advisor & Senior Strategy Consultant for Danish TOP500 companies and international corporations.
How will you make a difference for robotics, automation and drone companies?
There is considerable activity in the sector in the Greater Copenhagen area and Zealand – both in terms of companies bringing new technologies to market and knowledge institutions driving research.
My goal is to make the Odense Robotics’ new Copenhagen hub a valuable touchpoint for robotics, automation and drone companies and organisations in the Greater Copenhagen area and on Zealand.
Ultimately, I want to realise the strong potential by bringing people together and helping companies develop technologies and achieve commercial success.
What are you most looking forward to?
I’m looking forward to building forums that connect people and provides companies with valuable knowledge of strategic importance.
Members in the Greater Copenhagen area and across Zealand can look forward to events with significant topics and inspiring speakers, where they can network, get inspired and gain new knowledge.
I find it really inspiring working with companies – in all development phases – in order to find ways and partners for developing new technologies and achieving commercial success nationally and internationally.
What experience can you draw on to make a difference for the Danish robotics industry?
With my more than 15 years of experience in the role of Advisor & Senior Strategy Consultant for Danish TOP500 companies and international corporations, I know the executive agenda for making successful growth in various industries, including the tech industry.
I have also previously been involved as part owner of Danish and international startups and SMEs, which means that I can bring relevant experiences from board discussions to both new and established companies within the Danish robotics industry.
