New Supply Chain Network

Do you want inspiration on how to improve your company’s supply chain? Join the national cluster’s new Supply Chain Network. Here, you can share best practices, evaluate your supply chain and find the right suppliers. First meeting is on 12 October.

An estimated 60-80% of a company’s costs are directly or indirectly related to suppliers and other supply chain activities. So improving your supply chain is a key step towards strengthening your company’s competitive edge. The new Supply Chain Network helps you tap into best practice, so you can optimise your supply chain and production setup.

The network connects supply chain professionals from robot, automation and drone companies and aims to facilitate supply chain excellence in the industry. Supply chain professionals will come together to share ideas, industry insights, successes, build relations and engage in network discussions.

Here, you can learn from peers by sharing key learnings about challenges and successes. You can also learn from industry experts, who will share best practice cases, tools and methods that can offer inspiration on how to optimise your supply chain setup and increase efficiency.

“There’s a huge potential for robot, automation and drone companies to improve their supply chain. Indeed, the Corona crisis highlighted the need for reducing risk and increasing efficiencies,” says Kim Als, Business Development Manager and facilitator of the network at Odense Robotics.

“The new Supply Chain Network aims to facilitate best practice. It’s opportunity for supply chain professionals at robot, automation and drone companies to learn from their peers and from supply chain experts. Ultimately, it’s about learning ways to improve supply chain processes in order to deliver even better services and products to customers.”

There will be 2-3 network events each year. Meetings are open to employees working within supply chain and/or production at an organisation that is a paying member of Odense Robotics.
