In less than a month, Odense will become the meeting point for the robotics industry as Week of Robotics brings together Danish and international stakeholders for a week focused on technology, networking, and global perspectives. From May 5–8, the city will host a series of events offering a comprehensive insight into the future of robotics and automation.
Today, Odense is one of Europe’s leading robotics cities, home to a strong ecosystem of startups, companies, and research environments. Week of Robotics brings the industry together and provides an overview of the latest developments – both in Denmark and internationally.
The week showcases both the newest technological breakthroughs and real-world applications, offering insights into how robotics and automation are increasingly becoming an integral part of industry. The main events are NextGen Robotics LIVE and ROBOTBRAG.
New robotics conference launches in Odense
On May 6, Odense will for the first time host the international conference NextGen Robotics LIVE, where some of the most prominent voices in robotics, AI, and automation will take the stage.
The programme spans a wide range of topics – from developments in artificial intelligence and humanoid robots to cybersecurity and digital warfare. Speakers include Deepu Talla from NVIDIA, a global leader in AI computing, and Arnaud Robert from the industrial technology company Hexagon.
From Denmark, the programme features profiles such as investor Thomas Visti (Visti Unlimited), Anders Billesø Beck (Universal Robots), and Jesper Trebbien Andersen (Novo Nordisk).
The conference combines keynotes, panel discussions, and exhibitions, offering both knowledge and hands-on insight into the latest robotics technologies.
“Week of Robotics will be a place where the entire ecosystem comes together – from researchers and developers to companies and decision-makers. At the same time, we are bringing in international profiles who help set the direction for the industry, while creating a strong platform for Danish robotics on the global stage. It will serve as a showcase of how far robotics has come – and where it is heading,” says Søren Elmer Kristensen, CEO of Odense Robotics.
ROBOTBRAG showcases robotics in practice
On May 7–8, ROBOTBRAG opens its doors at the Danish Technological Institute, where companies and other interested participants can experience robotics in practice.
This year, there is a particular focus on humanoid robots, with both commercial solutions and more accessible robot types on display – including Denmark’s first humanoid catwalk.
At the same time, a series of new technology workshops will be introduced, giving participants hands-on insights into specific technologies and the opportunity to engage directly with experts.
ROBOTBRAG is celebrating its 10th edition this year and brings together companies, students, and decision-makers for two days focused on how robotics and AI can strengthen productivity, resilience, and future readiness in industry.
