Before reaching out to Kim, the robotics welding company Smooth Robotics had limited resources and prior supply issues. Together, Odense Robotics and Smooth Robotics they analysed the company’s needs and earlier errors in product deliveries, resulting in Smooth Robotics gaining new insights and being able to establish new secure processes.
“Our collaboration with Odense Robotics helped us realise which areas of our supply chain to look deeper into – areas we previously did not think to dive into due to a lack of time and resources. Questions were asked that made us reevaluate our purchasing and suppliers, and set up new secure workflows and processes, enabling us to improve our services and deliver the best possible products to our customers,” said Mark Kromann, COO at Smooth Robotics.

Other services
Odense Robotics also offers two additional services, which can help optimise your supply chain: Servitization and the Supply Chain Network.
The Servitization programme provides Odense Robotics member companies with tools and guides them in how to focus strategically on customer service, establish a setup and create their own strategic action plans for handling customer enquiries.
The programme consists of two modules spread over two days, where experts share their insights on how SMEs can establish themselves as service organisations and deliver optimal service – and how this can be a stepping stone to increasing turnover and elevating their business.

Networking is the key
The Supply Chain Network connects professionals from robot, automation, and drone companies nationwide, fostering excellence in supply chain operations. Here you can exchange insights with peers, address challenges and share successes, as well as access experts, best practices, and tools to optimise your supply chain and increase efficiency. Furthermore, Odense Robotics can help identify suppliers and partners based on our industry knowledge.
“The Supply Chain Network gives supply chain professionals within robotics the opportunity to learn from their peers and from supply chain experts. There will be 3-4 network meetings each year. Meetings are open to employees working within supply chain and/or production at an organisation that is a paying member of Odense Robotics.
