Join the robotics market visit to Singapore

Want to explore robotics market opportunities in Asia? Singapore could be an ideal first step and this November, members of Odense Robotics have the chance to visit the country by joining an exclusive market visit alongside other players from the Danish robotics and automation ecosystem.
Odense Robotics and the Ministry Foreign Affairs of Denmark, the Trade Council is pleased to announce that we are organising a special robotics market visit to Singapore – and members are invited!
The trip will take place from 14 – 16 November, 2023 and aims to offer participants valuable insights into Singaporean industries, with the goal of helping them forge connections with potential partners in the area.
“In recent years, Asia has emerged as a huge player within robotics – in 2021, it even had the largest industrial robotics market. This is why Danish companies that want to expand their robotics solutions to the Asian market should consider exploring Singapore for the next step in their growth strategies,” says Julie Thygesen, International Project Manager at Odense Robotics.
Why Singapore?
According to the new market report from the Royal Danish Embassy, Singapore, Asia was the world’s largest industrial robotics market in 2021 and accounted for 74 % of all newly deployed robots. Singapore was the seventh largest Asian robot market with 3,467 units installed in 2021. In terms of robot density, Singapore ranked number two. The robots installed in Singapore are mainly in the advanced manufacturing of electronics.
Robots have a vital role in the Singaporean government’s roadmap for sustainable growth. Key industries in Singapore, ranging from logistics, hospitality, food manufacturing, aerospace, maritime, advanced manufacturing and electronics, have sped up the deployment of robots at workplaces to meet customers’ demands and workplace satisfaction.
To help companies adopt robots for productivity and safety, the Singaporean government has various schemes for eligible companies, including funding up to 50 % of procurement costs. There is also project-based funding for Singapore based companies to tap into robotics and automation research and product development.
Come join Odense Robotics’ market visit to Singapore and gain a candid insight to their local robotics eco-system and network with key stakeholders.
