The purpose of this case was to develop and implement smart robotic and sensor technology to address the critical issue of unexploded ordnance (UXO) and landmines in Ukraine. By leveraging advanced detection methods such as ground-penetrating radar and magnetometers, the DISARM project aims to make the clearance process faster, safer, and more efficient. The overarching goal is to accelerate demining efforts to enable Ukrainians to safely cultivate their land and restore mobility in affected areas.
